World Domestic Laundry Appliance Market to Grow 1.7% annually from 2014 to 2018, According to a New Study on ASDReports

Global demand for domestic laundry appliances is forecast to expand 1.7% p.a. between 2014 and 2018. Bolivia, China, Japan, Tanzania, Vietnam are considered the highest potential markets in the coming years.

According to recently published research now avaialble on ASDReports, the expansion of the global domestic laundry appliance industry is forecast to reach 1.7% p.a. in the coming years. Between 2007 and 2013 the market increased with an average annual growth of 3.5%. Currently, automatic washing machines account for 69.6% of the global demand while the remaining market share is divided between other washing machines (7.5%), electric smoothing irons (14.3%) and drying machines (8.7%).

China, Germany, Japan, Turkey and the United Kingdom represent the largest domestic laundry appliance markets while the strongest annual growth is forecast to occur in Tanzania (31.9%), Bolivia (15.6%), Vietnam (10.0%), Kyrgyzstan (8.6%) and Bangladesh (7.5%).
