Use of technology transfers and collaborations is the most preferred way for the development of ISR infrastructure. According to survey results, 55% and 37% of respondents expressed their intention to develop ISR infrastructure through technology transfers and collaborations and ‘indigenous development’ respectively. Additionally, 33% of industry executives favored ‘procurement from organization/country’ to build ISR setup.
Regardless of company size classification, executives favor technology transfers and collaborations for ISR infrastructure development. Overall, 69%, 60%, and 53% of respondents from large, medium-sized, and small companies, respectively, prefer development of ISR setup through technology transfers and collaborations. Additionally, 44% and 40% of executives from large and small companies, respectively, intend to build ISR infrastructure through ‘indigenous development’. Moreover, 40% and 38% of respondents from medium-sized and large companies, respectively, voiced their preference towards ‘procurement from organization/country’ for ISR infrastructure development.
