Global Plastic to Fuel Technology Market Set to Grow to $854m in 2019

Globally, the field of plastic waste management is becoming more closely aligned with resource management, and this is occurring in large part because the way we view “waste” is dramatically shifting. New technologies are being developed that allow more materials to be recovered and new value created from those materials. Much more of our waste stream is considered to be valuable scrap material and new technologies such as automation for materials separation and major improvements in commercial composting are allowing the industry to tap into these resources and create value out of what was previously considered non-valuable material.

The report analyst commented "The interest in plastic to fuel technology is growing as an option for the sustainable management of waste plastics. Population and waste growth will be the major drivers for the development of plastic to fuel and will primarily be seen in North America, Europe and Asia-Pacific. During the last decade or so, increased waste and outlook on environmental policy developed the need for a use for the mounting level of waste plastic we have created."

Leading companies featured in the report who are involved in the plastic to waste market are; Agile Process Chemicals LLP, Beston (Henan) Machinery Co. Ltd., Global Renewables, Klean Industries Inc., MK Aromatics, Plastic Energy, Plastic2Oil and Vadxx.
